As one of the most outstanding and active Chinese piano artists in the current international classical music scene, Kong Xiangdong has won numerous international awards and honors. He won the bronze medal at the 8th Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition, the fourth prize and the Young Talent Award at the Santander International Piano Competition in Spain, the gold medal at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in the United States, the gold medal and four special awards at the Sydney International Piano Competition in Australia, and so on 南宫体育.
Kong Xiangdong has successively served as a judge for the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in the United States, the Sydney International Piano Competition in Australia, the Villa-Lobos International Piano Competition in São Paulo, Brazil, and the Aram Khachaturian International Piano Competition 南宫体育. He graduated from the Affiliated Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, the United States.
